How to Make Delicious Chicken White Korma Step By Step Recipe

Step 1: Prepare the Onion, Ginger & Garlic
First, take 500 g onions, 50 g ginger and 50 g garlic.
For this recipe, grind the onions, ginger and garlic using a mincing machine. Do not use a regular blender or grinder because the minced mixture produces less water, which is important for this recipe.

Step 2: Fry the Chicken
Heat approximately 300 g ghee or cooking oil in a karahi.
Add salt according to your taste and then add 1.5 kg chicken.
Fry the chicken over high heat until its color changes nicely and the chicken becomes light in color.

Step 3: Add Onion, Ginger & Garlic
Once the chicken has been properly fried, add the minced onion, ginger and garlic mixture.
Add approximately 1½ tablespoons of cumin seeds and mix everything well.
Continue cooking over high heat.
The onion mixture will release some water. Cook until this water has dried completely and the ghee or oil starts separating from the mixture.
Tip:
Since the onion is minced instead of blended, it generally releases less water. Simply cook it over high heat until the excess moisture has dried.

Step 4: Add Yogurt & Green Chilies
Once the water has dried and the ghee starts separating, add 250 g yogurt.
Add 50 g finely chopped or crushed green chilies.
Now add 1½ tablespoons white pepper powder.
If you don't have white pepper powder, you can increase the amount of ground green chilies according to your taste.
Mix everything well and cook over medium heat until the yogurt water has dried and the chicken is completely tender.
If necessary, you can add a little water to help the chicken cook properly.

Step 5: Add Black Pepper & Fresh Cream
Once the chicken is completely cooked and tender, add ½ tablespoon black pepper powder.
Now add approximately 1 cup of fresh cream.
Mix everything thoroughly.

Step 6: Give It a Final Dum
After mixing the cream, cover the karahi and cook the Chicken White Korma on very low heat for about 5 minutes, similar to giving rice dum.
This allows all the flavors to combine beautifully and gives the korma a rich, creamy texture.
