How to Make Beef Tikka Step By Step Recipe

Step 1: Prepare the Beef
Take ½ kg beef and cut it into tikka-size pieces.
We have used beef without fat, but you can also use beef with a little fat according to your preference.

Step 2: Boil the Beef
Put the beef in a pot and add approximately 3 liters of water along with ½ teaspoon salt.
Cover and boil the beef until it becomes completely tender.
Once the beef is cooked and tender, drain the water completely.

Step 3: Add the Spices
Transfer the boiled beef to a separate Karahi.
Since we already added salt while boiling the beef, add only a little more salt according to taste.
Now add:
½ teaspoon ground coriander
½ teaspoon ground cumin
A little turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
A little ground black pepper
Mix everything very well so that the spices coat the beef evenly.
You can increase or decrease the quantity of spices according to your taste.

Step 4: Cook the Beef
Add 2–3 tablespoons of ghee or cooking oil and ½ cup water.
Cook the beef over medium heat until all the water has completely dried.
Cooking the beef with a little water at this stage not only helps the spices cook properly but also removes the raw taste of the spices.
Keep cooking until the water has evaporated and the beef is nicely coated with the cooked spices.

Step 5: Optional Coal Dum
Once the water has completely dried, you can give the Beef Tikka Boti a smoky flavor by adding coal dum.
However, we are serving it without coal smoke, and it is still delicious and flavorful.
And that's it! Our delicious Beef Tikka Boti Karahi is ready to serve.
